Hey everyone,
I wanted to get this week's update out early, since we have quite a bit to do. That said, we are having LOL this Saturday 03/28/09, meeting @ 8 a.m. and completing our work by 3:30. As always, lunch is provided around noon, so all you really need is your LOL shirt, sleeves, gloves, glasses, jeans, and work shoes (smiles are good too!). It seems Red Out Sunday prompted quite a few people to come forward with assistance requests, and we definitely want to honor all of these requests because...well, that's what we do :) That is where all of you fine people come in! A lot of work requires a lot of people to complete these requests in a timely manner. That said, if you think you want to come out this Saturday and help, just respond to this e-mail and give me a confirmation, or you can call my cell phone @ the bottom of this message.
God seems to be moving some pieces and putting together something that is going to blow our minds when it happens, but what is awesome is that it will have had its roots in LOL! More details to come, but I think it's fair to say that it will definitely affect our City in a BIG way!
I hope everyone had a splendid Spring Break and can get back into their groove pretty easily. Let's move into Spring with a renewed sense of love and compassion for our neighbors and then act on it. The choice is ours! Lata
