• Staff Parish Relations Committee announced Sunday, March 9 that our pastor, Jim Flagg, has been named as the Sr. Pastor to Bellaire United Methodist Church. Pastor Flagg's last Sunday with us will be June 1. We would like to say congratulations to Jim and his family.  We will gather for a church lunch and some "surprises" at 12:30pm on that day in the Fellowship Hall.
  

• Pastor Eric Ryburn of St. Andrew's UMC in Mount Pleasant, will be coming to join First Methodist Alvin as Sr. Pastor on June 8.  The church will host a brunch at 9:30am on June 8th.  Come and meet our new pastor and family.

• Vacation Bible School will take place Monday - Friday, June 23-27th from 9:00am to 12:00 noon for children ages 4 - 3rd grade.  Rising 4-5-6th graders will meet in the evening. 
  

• Confirmation will take place during the 11:00am worship service on May 18th.  Come and welcome our 7th grade students into membership at First United Methodist Church.
